Smog

Conditions thick smog blanketed the city this morning back Pekanbaru. On board the air pollution index of pollution status at this stage looks unhealthy.

Visibility in some areas on Thursday (6/27/2013) below 500 meters. Dense smog from forest and land fires still occur in several districts in Riau. Thick smoke this morning back sesakan breath and create an eye sore.

  1. Smog that occurred in Pekanbaru Riau caused some losses. Smog caused by forest fires can spread and consequently air pollution can cause respiratory problems. Not only in pekanbaru impact of these fires had reached neighboring countries like Singapore and Malaysia. But the attitude of the Singapore media vilify our country can not be allowed, indeed we should apologize to singapore and malaysia for this incident. And finally the President apologized to Singapore for the effects of smoke haze has hurt the country and the President also criticized the attitude of the Singapore media.
